I'm getting closer to finally purchasing a TSX, and last week I was in the "interogation" room at a local SoCal dealership seeing what they could do for me. Anyway, right off the bat they write down $26990 (MSRP+dest.) on the paperwork. While I was talking to the salesman, the floor manager walks in, and looks at the sheet, and says this price is wrong and raises it?!? He mumbled something about Acura changing something or another- blah, blah, blah. Anyway, I noticed he had changed it to $27 something (it was hard to read his scribble), and figured the guy was just being an a$$ and trying to milk a little more from the cow. Needless to say I walked out.

So I'm perusing the Acura site this morning and I just noticed the destination charge has gone up from $500 to $545. I guess now looking back at the situation that the floor manager at this particular dealership probably wrote down $27035... So what gives? Anybody else noticed this raising of the dest charge? Granted the dest charge is the first on the chopping block at the negotiation table, but still...

As of Oct 2nd dest charges went from 500.00 to 545.00 on all Acuras.
