Deposit on 2005 CG/Ebony w/Navigation

I just finished putting a deposit down on a 2005 Carbon Grey Pearl w/ Ebony Interior and Navigation TSX. The salesman said it should be in sometime in December. I sure whish ACURA would come loose with the prices of the 05's. The waiting game begins...

Oh yea, this is my first post here. My Honda/Acura love affair started in 1990 with my first Integra, then in 1996 with the 3rd Gen Integra along with an Accord in 1997, and then an RSXS in 2002. I bought a Nissan 350Z last year and just have not been happy with it. Good looking fast car, but has too many problems. It will be like coming home in December. Cannot wait.

I got a deposit on the exact same car...6M. Mine is coming out of the factory Nov 10 and I'm hoping to have it by the beginning of Dec. Dealer was cool and let me lock in on a price...he said he will honor it regardless of the 2005 prices.

And your locked in price is...........?

Did they just take a certain $ amount off of MSRP or something regardless of what the released pricing will be? That is what they are doing here...

I forgot to add that mine is also a 6sp. I will call the salesman tomorrow and try to lock in on a price.

$27,600 seems like a deal that sounds a bit too good for me.

Locked down price doesn't mean anything unless everything is officially signed.

The lowest I have found around seems to be the obligatory $500 off msrp. Since the msrp for 05' isn't known, it would be tough to lock in a set price yet unless the actual msrp is known by dealers. Perhaps they aren't passing it on?

I have the paperwork. It's the reason I'm waiting for the 05 instead of going for a 04.

Hi everyone, first time post here...

I called Acura headquaters a couple of days ago, and someone informed me 10/26 was the release date of the 05 TSX. MSRP will not be set until then...

I am actually in the martket of a 05 TSX w/NAV, and 27.6K sounds too good to be true. How did you manager that?

I just got $1000 off the MSRP on a 2005 CG/6MT/Navi. Just waiting for it to arrive now. Also waiting for MSRP to come out so I know what I will actually be paying. Probably going to add the body kit.

I've got signed paperwork and a deposit down on an 05 CG/5AT/non-NAV.

Because nobody knew the MSRP yet, we agreed on $750 under whatever number it comes back at and if the price is greater than $500 over 04 MSRP I have the option of getting the deposit back.

Just got email from the dealership saying they expect to have it end November, but they'll know for sure at the end of this month.

Oh, and this is at Flatirons Acura in Boulder, CO

This is the reason people asking for anything above $25K for a used TSX w/navi (or 23K w/out) are dreaming.
