Debadging my new tsx

heres the deal. i just got my abp/6mt/navi yesterday and i am looking to debadge it in a few hours, when its done getting tinted. i know that floss or fishingline is the best way to get the badges of, but what i wanna know is what should i use to get all the sicky stuff off of my car.l i was thinking goo gone, but i dont know how good that would be for the paint. any suggestions from anyone who debadged their car??

why not?? Looks clean.

Before using the fishing line or floss make sure you heat up the emblems with a hair dryer. And to take off the extra goo, you can use any bug/tar remover spray and let it soak in.

when i did it...i used floss to take em off, then i used a blowdryer to soften up the residual glue and rubbed it off with my fingers. be careful though cuz it'll burn your hand if you leave the blowdryer on too long.

I agree though, it looks SO much better.

Debadged mine as well. Looks great. I used some bug and tar remover to get the sticky stuff off, worked just fine.

I've debadged all my Hondas except for the TSX. I think they have all looked better stripped too. Just go get some adhesive remover from your local hardware store. That stuff is much better than your ordinary bug goo.

Thumbs up

I removed the unnecessary "acura" badge on the trunk... looks much cleaner. I used dental floss, no hairdryer needed.

My Bimmer is debadged (the 328is emblem on the back), but I don't think I'll debadge the TSX, to me it looks better on it w/ them, and the badges are nice quality, not just some cheap plastic

I'm almost positive that the "A" has holes behind it, I know the RSX does.
