I got a touch up paint pen from my dealer, but it seems to be the crappy one with only a brush/dabber for the paint and no opposite end with clearcoat. So I have the paint but no clearcoat. Can I just buy a clearcoat paint pen somewhere else? Or is it a special type? Also, is there anywhere else I can find the paint pen that has the OEM paint and the clearcoat? I feel kind of ripped off for getting an $8 pen w/no clear coat after it seems everyone on here usually gets a double sided one.

edit: I see ebay seems to be the only way to get the pen. Any other answers to my questions?

stores like checkers auto parts carry paint chip repair kits with manufacturer spec touch-up paint and clearcoat. some come with little bits of sandpaper so you can even out the touched up areas. they don't cost more than $25. you should check it out.
