Coolant - green or blue?

I did a search but found nothing.

I recently replaced my coolant. Obviously, it had the blue coolant in it. I know mixing blue/green is bad juju (foaming?) so I flushed it out with DI water(fill, run engine, drain, etc till clear). Then I drained and filled with green coolant.

Is this okay, or do I need to do the reverse as soon as I get the time?

as long as the coolant used is silicate and phosphate FREE, you are good.
no need to flush or whatever you were planning to do.

if you filled it with coolant containing silacates and phosphates, under heat this turns into sand. WHICH IS BAD FOR YOUR ENGINE.

in the olden days is when the color was important.
NOW, as long as the coolant is SILICATE and PHOSPHATE FREE, you are good.

OEM Honda coolant is not that pricey. I work at a acura/nissan place and both shops use the honda blue with great results. I use it in my motorcylces etc. It's not magical or in some way superior it's just cleaner. But yeah all it is in normal coolant premixed with distilled water 50/50. Price wise it's pretty cheap for what it is.
