Consumer Reports inaccurate comments about the TSX's price
I wrote CR a few months ago and complained about their reporting of the MSRP for the TSX. They keep claiming the the TSX is $2,000 more than the Accord V6, and they also compare the TSX in price to vehicles like the Audi A4. My concern is that they are essentially adding $2,000 to price differences between vehicles my comparing the TSX Nav to the Accord without NAV. Also, the base TSX is a lot less expensive than any of the other "upscale" vehicles to which they compare it. For example, the base TSX costs less than any of the vehicles in the recent comparo, when not equiped with NAV. Anyway, CR's auto editor acknowledged the issue when I asked about it online, but I think they should admit that the error in print.

Canadiandriver.com has done some similar things in the past. I called them on it and they corrected the article ASAP.
Not sure what you can do to get CR to do the same though. More pressure maybe?

I got them to correct specs for my camera once. They didn't print anything amazing, but the next time they listed the specs for 4-megapixel cameras they corrected it.

I don't know that the fate of the world is any different with this misleading statement by CR, but at the very least they could correct the online version of their article

Well at least Car and Driver got it right. They did a 30 grand comparo on TV with the new Volvo S40, the new Subaru Legacy, and either a C230 or Saab. They REALLY liked the TSX. They couldn't stop raving about the car. And of course they picked it as a 10 Best winner. I TIVO'd it and saved it.
