I think gas mileage also varies depending on altitude. The TSX performs astoundingly well at high altitudes (I've taken mine from the low altitudes of the South Bay all the way to the peak of Crater Lake (almost 8k above sea level) with little performance decrease...but a noticable gas mileage decrease.

My TSX averages 26-28 MPG a tank. I do a lot of mixed city/highway driving.
