Drifting
on my '04...3 months into ownership...i had countless rock chips on the bumper & hood (especially the bumper) i swore that my next car would have it...and now on my '06...iv'e had it on for almost 8 months now...no chips...the worse iv'e gotten were dead bug guts...came right off with a wash...you can clay bar & wax it...
it is pricey but...my answer would be it's worth it...

I Quit
I think the clear bra is a great idea and less maintenance than a regular bra. However; I have seen alot of cars where people didn't keep up the wax and the paint under the bra is relatively clean and nice looking and then a nice line and crap paint quality. So if you go for it take care of the rest of the non-bra'd areas.

IMO, if you are going to invest in the clear bra for the hood and mirrors, you should also do the bumper.
I have 1/2 hood, bumper and mirrors. Cost was $445 installed.
