okay dumb question...what's the difference between the CL7 and CL9? i thought the 03+ jdm accord/TSX was CL7? what's CL9?

 

cl9 is the 2004-current TSX in north america. the CL7 is the honda accord euro R, and i'm guessing that the 2003-current honda accords (not the us accords) are cl7 chassis code

 

ahh i see...so CL7 is jdm, CL9 is usdm

CL7 is the JDM Accord EuroR that comes with the K20A-R 220hp only
TSX/EDM Euro Accord and JDM Accord 24TL r CL9 ~

so CL7 is the only code name for EuroR .... ~
edit:every non-EuroR is CL9

 

ahh gotcha...so what are the differences in the two chassis other than the codes?

 

engine and the suspension .. ~
EuroR has the K20A-R .. and others have the the K24A series or the underpowered k20A(160hp)
and the suspension is so wut different .. ~ EuroR is a bit lower and more sporty than the other versions

 

oh bwt .. ~ the gear raito is different .. ~ even though they r both 6MT

 

i see y'all say "CG" alot...what is that? ask me anything about a honda (especially accord, and im the man...but im new to acura's so help ya boy out)

 

CG .. they r probly talkin abt the color .. it's short for carbon grey color for TSX
and PWP is white SSM is silver ..
