Went to get my car serviced today for another problem (dangling cable at bottom of car) and they asked me if there was another problem with the car. I told them the radio has static almost all the time when playing the radio. The service guy then checked it out and agreed. They then told me they were going to order another radio since the antenna wasn't the problem (stereo sign on screen doesnt flicker when static appears).
I'm supprised there was no hesitation on their part. Great service (ACURA LAVAL).

Let you guys know if it fixes the problem

They likely did this for you b/c the TSX has had prior TSB's for bad radios I believe--usually the dash lights just go out I think.

What year is your TSX?

I have had my 2005 TSX for about 2 weeks. I have noticed that the radio in FM mode always has static. I thought it may be due to the antenna being in the rear window. I will have to hear what happens with them chanigng your radio.

It's a 2004 (got it oct. 1 2004). I don't don't know when they are going to receive it.

My car was new in May '04, I just checked the VIN# at Honda owners link, the only recall for ours was the taillight recall, it was fixed in Sep '04 by the dealer.

Not sure why your radio would be flaking out?
