CG=crime??
Seems like many of us got the carbon grey. Why is that? And are we all bad for not choosing ABP or Meteorite Silver????
To me ABP was hot in the showroom but when I saw it out in daylight I hated it. I like a more conservative blue. ABP was too neon for me.
Black + Dirt = Work ... too lazy to wash it every day.
Silver(s) ... I believe that 90% cars on the road now are silver so what's up with that?
Milano Red ... haven't seen one. None at the dealer.
CG = classy, definitely draws second looks, better resale value. I was surprised that I liked it so much when I saw it outside in the lot. I really thought I was going to go with one of the silvers.
Don't hate CG...tell Honda to come up with more colors.

I originally wanted a CG but ended up getting a SSM since it was the only 6MT Non-Navi TSX in the south east part of the US at that time... Both colors are great but here in FL I see a lot more SSM... Makes my car not stick out as much =/

I planned to get 05' CG but couldn't able to afford but I was considering to buy SSM TSX from cmf. I have spoken with him on the phone and deal was sounds good to me. I will see what happens. I think CG and SSM are popular color out there, but I think all colors on TSX look great!

Reminds me of my toddler nephew and niece:
"My favorite color is blue!"
"Well, my favorite color is pink!"
"No, blue!"
"No, pink!"
"Blue!"
"Pink!"
"Blue!"
"Pink!"
*Repeat about 20 more times, getting madder and madder each time*
*Cry and start hitting each other*
*Continue until Mommy comes and says GAME OVER*

Waited a year for CG ...
cause they didn't have it in Canada on the 04's
but they took away Milano Red and Burple.
I love my CG 05', Burple is no loss IMO, but I'm wondering about the Milano Red.
That's the color the car was launched in/introduced & looked great, but I don't think I ever saw one on the street because it was only avail with beige/fake wood inside. Hope they bring it back anyways.
Grey interior would be a neat option up to have up here too, sort of a comprimise between the Beige/Plood & Black/Mastic interiors.

Carbon is a nice color but most of the TSXs I see are that color. Maybe about 80% around where I live. The other popular colors are pwp and silver. I have ABP. So glad I didn't get Carbon gray...not that it's a bad choice, just not for me.

pwp is a great color on any of the acuras it seems. the best color is really nhp, though. the problem with that color is it gets effed up the easiest, with pwp coming second. ssm is also a great color, but is way too common even though it probably requires the least amount of maintenance. i chose cg because with ebony interior, i think it looks even better. it also gives the car a great european look (e.g. a4 in grey); best color for that car next to black. however, with cg the maintenance is a little higher than i'd like.
so, for me, cg > nh > pw > ssm > ab > mr > msm
so, for me, cg > nh > pw > ssm > ab > mr > msm

CG = old and owned when its dirty "very greenish looking".
ABP = hottness and all the new young owners posting "another proud ABP owner" threads pop'ing up this summer.

CG preference
Sorry to re-hash an old subject. As a noob I didn't know that there has been so much discussion on the color issue. This was not intended to be a question of what is a better color.
I just noticed that it (GC) was so popular and wondered out loud why that was? I figured that Honda must have spent beaucoup bucks to study colors & image as it correlates to their demographics for this car. So who did they market this car to?
When I was at the dealer for 2 in a row I saw mostly mid-age folks looking and fawning over the TSX. And I saw a younger bunch heading straight for the TL.
So by my simple logic, I would think the car is attracting an older crowd, which might give reason to why the CG is such a popular color. More refined color than the usual hot colors and practical for people who don't always have time to keep their cars clean.
That's my take...so be happy with the color of your choice!
