Center Console lights wouldn't turn off
I just got back from a weekend up in New Hampshire at the Lake. My TSX performed beautifully. We got in the car tonight around 8PM, drove home, and I pulled in my garage about 2 1/2 hours later. Turned everything off inside the car, including the radio, climate control, and headlights. Took out the key, grabbed my stuff and got out. Pushed the button to lock the doors and walked away. As I was walking away, I noticed that the lights on my center console weren't turning off.
I unlocked the doors and tried to see if I could solve the problem but couldn't. I got my dad out there to help me and when I opened the door again, a very obvious electrical smell was eminating from somewhere inside the cabin.
About a half hour later, the center console lights turned off. My dad and I are guessing that its a delay switch that overheated during the drive home but I'm REALLY hoping that it is something simple like that and my entire center console isn't screwed like many other '04 owners...
Any suggestions?

I hope that you haven't had any problems since then. The very same thing just happened to me tonight and I don't know what to make of it. Please let me know how you resolved this!
