Center Console Lights

Center Console Lights
Does anybody know of a way to redo the lights in the center console/dash that illuminate the buttons? I feel that the ugly green in the buttons needs replaced with white or blue. It is the same with the steering wheel buttons, the window buttons and door lock, etc.... all the buttons. I know this is rare, but I can't stand the green anymore. I've had it with the green, I need to change it. ANY information that anybody has will be useful.

Someone posted it before its a pain in the butt becasue it requires you to remove the center console head unit. Along with with soldering on the leds.
Dude its really just lights most people are lucky if theirs still work haha...
The buttons on the left arm rest might be able to change the color if they are tiny bulb style.

if their like that than we can just change the rubber caps on the bulbs to give us the color we want.
Althought you get a amber bulb text look with out the blue rubber caps which pass through a white film.

this has been done before, and all the information is out there somewhere.
...
I'll help you look a bit.
so to get this straight, you're wanting to completely take apart everything on
and around the dash that has that greenish LED backlighting and remove all those
bulbs so you can replace them with blue ones... or white.
right?

First off, I strongly suggest you buy both the service manual for your car
and the electronic troubleshooting manual for your car before you begin this
change up.
okay...
some links that may help:

and the best:

there's no solid DIY really.
you kind of need to know what you are doing, it involves soldering and
whatnot so mistakes are no good on this mod.
best of luck if you try.

I'm going to try these ones:
http://autolumination.com/74.htm
Scroll down until you see:
30% brighter than regular Neo - Wedge LED Instrument Panel Bulbs Type A, B & C
I'll try blue and white.
I don't know whether to get type A, B, or C, but in general do you think these kind will work?
