Carbon Gray touch-up paint

Carbon Gray touch-up paint
I've got a 2005 TSX and, since I live in New York City, have lots of scratches, etc. that need to be touched up. Where's the best place to get appropriate paint color and what's the best way to apply it?

Let me help you!
From what I gather, you should get it from the dealer. Auto parts stores just carry generic stuff, while the dealer touch up paint matches the paint code exactly.
Also, from what I've read on here, you should put on layers (and let each layer dry first?), and keep doing it until it's higher than the surrounding paint. Then you clay bar it (really easy, I did it last week for the first time) to remove the excess layers and make it smooth.
After that, I guess you wax?
I saw so many posts during one of my frequent searches on the forum, so try it and find more detailed instructions

Dont use the touchup paint that you can get from the dealer since those are applied with a brush and is really hard to get right. Instead, get the canada version. You can find it on ebay. Instead of a brush, it's a touchup pen that is much nicer and you'll be able to get as much or as little as possible you want out of it.

I bought the touchup pen from Ebay (I have ASM) and I don't really like it. I find it to be rather inaccurate in its application. I then bought the appropriate color matched paint from paintscratch.com and it is a perfect match. I bought the paint and a separate bottle of clearcoat. I don't use the touchup pen anymore.

I love my paint pen! I have Carbon Gray Pearl also, and I got my paint pen from eBay. It's a pretty good color match. Not perfect, but as good as I've ever seen with touchup paint. Plus my car is two years old, so figure the original paint has faded slightly.
Bought mine from eBay seller Paintpens. He ships fast, and after you place your order, he even e-mails a two-page Word doc with tips on how to make your touchups look as good as possible. Highly recommended!

I suggest Paintscratch.com. You can buy your exact color in a bottle or pen applier. You will need clearcoat in addition to the paint.
To be sure you get the correct color, you will need to get some information from a sticker from the door frame, driver's side.
