Can I trust the TSX?

Can I trust the TSX?
Hey Everyone - New to the board but have a "gut" question in terms of the TSX. I am looking to purchase one in February when I start a new job. I will be driving around 32k miles per year and wanted to see what you guys thought of this type of mileage on a new-to-America car? Thanks in advance, gof.
P.S. I live in Chicago (and I'm a Sox fan )

Like anything else, there are no guarantees.
However, Honda is known for it's overall mechanical reliability.
Average mileage of members here so far is probably close to 6,000. Aside from a few rattles, etc. the only major mechanical problem was a malfunctioning manual transmission that is being replaced under warranty.
I'd say an Acura, Honda, Toyota are your best bets for reliability. I'm sure there are others, but I don't remember them off-hand.

32k miles per year, hmmm. That's a tough one. The TSX is a fabulous car to spend time in. The interior is superb, so it's a pleasure to be there. The car handles and shifts effortlessly, and has enough power that you can accelerate through openings in traffic. The bright headlights remind the slowpokes in the left lane that they really don't want you on their tail. Driving on the open highway is sheer pleasure. I feel the car will prove to be extremely reliable and representative of the Acura "breed".
But for 32k miles per year I would maybe be looking for better gas mileage, e.g a Honda Civic Hybrid. I am getting 24 mpg in metro area driving. YMMV.

The car may be new to America in theory, but the motor and other parts (like the suspension and tranny design) are not new. The motor (K24) has been used in the Accord, CR-V, and the Element. The head to this motor is from the RSX-S. The tranny has a lot of gears and other internal components that are also from the RSX. The suspension design was based off the TL-S (though it uses an aluminum hub knuckle like the NSX does). You should have no concerns as to the reliability of any Honda, especially the TSX.

I drive about 25-30k miles a year and have had my tsx for 6 months. It has +13k miles and my only problem is one minor rattle. I love the car. It is the same was when I first got it.
