Buying from Remote Dealer
Are there any disadvantages after the initial sale of buying from a dealership that is not close to your home?
I am getting ready to purchase a TSX, but I haven't had great experiences at the dealership closest to my home. I also got a quote of $1000 off at a dealer about 45 minutes away.
Basically, I want to get the best deal for the car. If the closer dealer won't match that price, would there be inconveniences other than the initial sale? Would I have any problems with getting warranty service or anything else from the other dealer?

Sometimes, you'll find that the service depts go a little farther for customers that purchased their cars at their dealership. Maybe more lenient w/ loaners, that kind of thing. If you do have some kind of dispute wrt your service, you might have a bit more leverage at your purchase dealership, esp if you have a strong relationship with your sales person who can act as an advocate for you. Warranty service is unaffected, any Acura dealer can handle that for you.
