I use 76, it's the closest to my house, but I've heard from a friend of mine who is a mercedes mechanic that Chevron's gas (with techroline) really does make a positive difference in regards to engine cleanliness.

I live in Toronto so there are no Cheveron. I use Sunoco since they have the highest octane (94) in town
My dealer told me not to change to stick with one brand (doesn't matter which brand, but stick with one)...is that true?

Chevron Supreme Plus only (92 octane).
Both the Honda (when I test drove their Accord) and the Acura reps recommended Chevron.

Then again, maybe they have a deal with them!!!! That's it!!!! They put crazy stuff in the fuel that the government can use to track your car no matter where you are in the world!!!! Gotta put lead shielding on the car or else you'll never escape!!!! Oh no, they're coming for me, have to run, can't let them catch me!!!!

*Ahem* Sorry, just had to get that out.

In answer to the original question, I fill up at ARCO or the Vons gas station (least expensive gas around). Always 91 octane.

shell premium and ONLY shell premium. just a family tradition i guess. . sometimes when in extreme desperation we use bp (formerly amoco) or mobile, but not yet with the TSX.

I go for the station that has the most traffic, which translates into the most turnover in their tanks. Which means that the water content (from condensation) is very low. So brand name means little here.

Shell or Sunoco, trying my best to avoid Esso. i also note Shell runs longer. (i also heard that CTC will rebrand some shell to CTC but still use Shell gas.)
i wish we have Chevron here.... or at least Techvron. any idea where to get them in Toronto?

Can't wait to drive
I use Chevron 91 octane exclusively. From my friends and my experience, it delivers the best performance of all brands. I think the "engine cleaning" property is just marketing. I pay $2.29/gallon at the last fill-up.

Chevron, 92. $2.67 USD per US gallon translated from 92.2 Canadian cents per litre (actually may be $2.64, I calculated it last week and am working off memory). Either way it sucks.
But the fuel is fine and I got 34 MPG last week on a trip to Seattle! 34!
(I know it doesn't compete with some guys on here but I was between 80-90 mph the whole way and it's a personal best).
