i think bmw's are very nice cars. if i had the money, i would've perhaps bought a bmw. but at their prices for a similarly equipped bmw, you're looking into the $35-$40k level and at that level, i would've purchased a g35 coupe 6mt.

so hence, i wouldn't have bought a bmw anyways.

Heres a picture of what my BMW almost looks like

http://www.imotors.com/sneak_preview...01bmwm3_sp.jpg

I have just about the same color as it and i got the underbody kit, the fog light, and the trims done similar to the picture if not better

So you're comparing the TSX to an M3? Great.

Yes it is, but most if not all M3 drivers would'nt troll TSX sites, so I seriously doubt you actually have an M3 or any other BMW for that matter.

I'm sure we're all real impressed you have a BMW. Too bad you have to pay over $35K to get a BMW that can outrun my TSX. :P

Hmmm owned one for less than three months and then traded it in. Sounds perfectly logical to me. But then again you have an M3 so I guess your rich.

BMW's are excellently built and extremely fun to drive automobiles. Let him have it his Bimmer. The following reasons are why I don't own, nor ever will, a BMW, despite their upsides

1. Don't want to be associated with the "character profile" associated with a BMW owner.

2. You will never get a comparably equipped German car for the same price as a Japanese one simply because of the"over-engineeing" of the vehicles during the design phase and the inefficiencies of their production processes which the Japanese have perfected.

3. Maintenance of the vehicles are expensive in comparison to Japanese Vehicles. (obviously if you can afford a Bimmer, you can maintain one, right?)

4. Although they ARE better handling cars and probably more fun to drive at the extreme......how many of you routinely drive at 9/10s of the cars ability. My TSX seems to handle just fine at the extremes I am willing to drive at.

Simply put: IMO the value hike doesn't equal the price hike.

I told you he was gonna be fun.

OK, rules, here's the challenge: Can you think of another thread to start?

And it better be at least as good as this one!

But you ARE entertaining us. You are our bitch, our gimp, our circus clown. Here to prove the 3-series is better than the TSX? Good luck. I wouldn't want a BMW if is was THE SAME PRICE as the TSX. And not that it matters, but I could afford the M3 right now if I cared.

He doesnt have an M3 cause
1) he wouldnt have to have the underbody installed, they come with that exact kit
2) the pic of he linked is a bmw show car in germany. that special gunmetal color is a special $20g paint job that only exists on that one car, period. That paint color cannot be had in the US cause of chemically harmful paint process used.
3) no way in hell is someone getting a new m3 for 49 and some change, flat out BS.

He is a just a little troll here to try and be entertaining cause he has no life. And i'll admit its kinda entertainging,

But this dude only wishes he had a bmw or even a tsx to drive. But im sure his ford escort wagon does him just fine!

I wish I could get a nice car for free, but couldn't find one, so I spent 27K to get a very nice car, and that's my TSX.

where is that sucker?
I recall someone "there" mention a NSXer got a civic, because he felt "driving a fast car slow is boring, and driving a slow car fast is fun"
that is TOTOALLY TRUE.....
my father has great car better than BMW M3, but i still like my TSX more... as long as we are not racing ...

Are you in a band or do you sell/use drugs? Those are the only explanations I can come up with for the total absence of grammar and punctuation in your posts. I mean, how else could you have the cash for an M3 and yet lack the skill to put together a coherent sentence?

Seriously, are you one of our member's "humorous" alter ego or are you for real? No flame, but curious minds want to know!

Rear wheel drive really sucks in a Canadian winter. I could not count the number of times my neighbour has been stuck in his 5 series BMW (no snow tires)..even in his own laneway. I considered the 3 series, however it was way too overpriced, a more cramped cockpit with very expensive maintenance and the reliability does not approach Honda or Acura. A wonderful car to drive (in the summer), though.
