Question Automatic v. Manual

Hello All,
I am purchasing a TSX soon and would like some input on why/what you chose (which one is faster, more fun, gas mileage, etc)
Thanks for the input,

faster = manual
more fun = probably manual for most
gas mileage = automatic (at least by the numbers on the stickers)

Really I think its a personal decision. If you sit in traffic a lot or don't really care about "sport driving" your TSX, an auto may be the right choice. If you consider yourself a more aggressive driver or want that feel of greater control, go with the manual. Either way, its a great car and I don't think you'll be disapointed by either.

The manual is faster 0-60, partly because of the higher final drive ratio. If you like manuals, the TSX has one of the best (easy shifting, precision feel). People who bought the automatic seem to be pretty satisfied, so I say buy what you like.

manual = more fun and faster
auto = comfort.. + for lazy ppl

since auto have SS mode it can mimic manual in a certain way
and the SS is one of the best i drove so far... pretty fast response in shifting

I'm happy with the 5AT and got it because it's our family car. 6MT was sweet though, and would have been my choice under different circumstances. Hard to make a bad choice here, 'cause both tranny's are good to drive.

I really enjoy the semi-auto in the 5AT. Have the semi-auto option means that the fund factor is not really too compromised...
