Artic Blue a Ploice Magnet

I test drove one with Artic Blue, and dealer has one coming soon.
I am ok with SSM or Meteor Silver.. Maybe less obvious on high way?
Another body tend to get more tickets due to ext color?

while some colors like red and yellow do attract attention, the artic blue isnt that bad imo.

the color of the car doesnt matter if ur driving like an ahole though. u'll def get noticed then.

I have not been tagged yet, knock on wood.

However, my wife scored a 79 in a 45 in one of the 190 Toll Express Lanes on X-mas Eve. I am letting the attorney take care of that one

What's the obsession lately with certain car colors being "police magnets"? It's usually not the color of the car that gets an officer's attention, it's the way that car is driving. And frankly, I think it's far too easy to speed in the TSX because it's got such a smooth ride, is quiet, and the speedometer is oriented so differently than any other car I've driven.

Typical speedometers point to about 1 or 2 o'clock at highway speeds. The TSX, however, points to 10 o'clock at 80mph! It's still hard to get used to looking at the left half of the speedometer (rather than the top half) when driving at legal speeds.

I have had to make the exact same adjustment.

Same here. The car is very smooth and quiet at speed, it's easy to go fast. Also, the last gear in the 5AT is very tall - 2500 rpm @ 120km/h.

I happen to think the TSX is a bit of Q-ship actually. It's a fairly conservative looking sedan at first glance - unless you got the Milano Red.

Yes and no.

Any car that can be easily identified in a group is more likely to get ticketed IMO. Red and fly-yellow ones come to mind, as do Ferraris and cars with spoilers and coffee-can sized exhaust tips that sound like "whoopee" cushions!

I also think that the police give "professional courtesy" to white cars, particularly Crown Vics.

I think I've said this before but I favor cars in innocuous colors without things that draw attention like spoilers. And I use a radar detector.

That said, my last ticket was driving an innocuous white 4 door sedan with a radar detector....

I got tagged for 79 in a 65 a week after I got my Arctic Blue TSX. Was in the middle of a group of 6 cars, with cruise control set. Cop pulled me from the middle of the pack.

I tend to think it was the 30 day tags, but maybe it was the color. Or just the nice car.....

I was pissed either way..
