what kind of APR have you gotten for the TSX? i was just reading that someone got a 3.54% and i was wondering if you need near perfect credit to get an APR that good. also, if you put more $ down, does that significantly lower the APR?

My credit union (www.direct.com) offers 3.95% up to 60 months; 4.95 up to 72 months. I'm not sure what their cutoff is as far as credit score, but I qualified.
And, at this rate, they'll finance up to 105% of the MSRP of the car.

I got 3.54% from AHFC for 60 months. That was a week ago. My credit union offered 4.5%. My FICO score was 747. I think the dealer finance manager mentioned that a FICO of 720 was needed to get the 3.54%

what if someone has NO credit, but they have a lot of cash to put down? how do they determine APR if they don't have a credit card or no history of paying bills?

I got 3.75% at my credit union. That's after i had to bitch at them about my credit. They were gonna give me 4.75%, but I told them I would take my money out and they had to talk to a lot of people, and I finally got it.

3% with Chase. I don't know my exact credit score but someone told me it was "well over 1000" ---whatever that means.

Wow, 3.54% for 60 months. In Canada, we can only dream of rates like that.
Our FICO score ranges between 300 and 900, and mine is 798. I have yet to find a financial institution that will do better than Acura's 6.8%.

I financed from somewhere in Virginia (a credit union that the Acura dealership used) and they gave me 3.79%. They initially came back with 6.9%, but I knew they were just blowing smoke up my ass. I waited out for 3 days and the salesman finally came back with the 3.79%. I was happy with that and bought the car.
