Anyone waiting for a shipment on an '04?
I just bought a CG AT non-Navi and the dealership is telling me they won't have the car for 2-3 weeks as it's being delivered from overseas. Has anyone else waited for a shipment of an '04 recently? How long did it take? Anyone else currently waiting to receiver theirs? Seems a bit weird that a 2004 would still be shipped from Japan this late in the year...

Are you sure they are not just trading one with another dealership that is maybe kind of far away? Is it really coming from the factory in Japan? That would be suprising if they are still making the 04 models...

Yeah I think that's a bit weird. Maybe it's possible? When I got my TSX I was lucky and had the right color and model in a week before I called. I reserved it immediately. The dealer might be shopping around the country for a 5AT CG?

My TSX 04 was made in Japan on Sept. 10 and is due this Saturday 10-9-04
Thats what the dealer told me. I know they are not doing a trade on my TSX, because I tried that back in August.

I think I remember someone posting that the factory will start making 05 models beginning October. Your TSX must have already been assembled and is now somewhere in transit since it takes 2-3 weeks for shipment (maybe more if you're on the East Coast)

I'm waiting for mines to arrive too. Should be arriving pretty soon. My production date was 9.13 .. so should be here soon. Give or take a week .. it is coming from the other side of the globe btw ..

Car and the deal has is last shipment of 04s in next week. I also had to look in 4 or 5 dealerships to get this. 2004s are VERY pressed now. 2005s will 'start' to appear at the end of November from some dealerships I talked to.
I found mine via vehix.. those 2004s are almost gone.

Back in July '03, some dealers wanted more than MSRP for the TSX. I paid $1k below MSRP. Some people got away with $1,500 below back then.

and also (like me) i just got mine and i was inpatient to wait till november to get an 05. its the same car. no changes on it make me feel like its any different. cept the passanger seat, one of my friends was liek "$30k and no power seat" i was like ya ghetto huh lol NOT, my car is sexayyy

i ordered mine mid/late june, and it was meant to be at the dealer by mid july. but it got delayed and didn't end up recieving it until early august. the build date was july something
the wait is agony, but think of it this way- u'll appreciate it even more once u recieve it:P

04 build's are just about done. Maybe one more shipment. I know our dealership only has ONE more 04 coming, nav/SSM. And 05 TSX's are starting to built in the next few weeks and then about 5 weeks shipping in all to the dealership.

I thought I was the only one waiting to get my TSX. I was supposed to pick mine up last weekend but the dealer called on Monday and told me the one they went to pick up from another dealer was vandalized. I am not sure if I believe that or not but they were able to locate another Black/Black TSX for me and I pick it up on Friday 
. I am so pysched to get this car.

u r dreaming.. all current year models stopped production in july and 05 start production in august... all hondas and acura do the same way.
