just for fun.. see if you can find all the changes..
here is what ive managed to find from the two photos
1. The grille has one less louver and looks like the infiniti logo is slightly larger
2. The front bumper is re-done with the larger air openings and its painted all the way down
3. The side skirts all around the car are painted to match vs the plain black of the 2004
4. The creases in the hood are gone
5. the taillight is slightly sticking out which means its probably going to have the more rounded look of the coupes
6. The wheels (duh)
anything i missed (from those two shots besides the interior)

The second picture is photoshopped. Kudos to whoever did it because they did a good job.
Here's a 50% overlay of the two photos so you can see what has changed and more importantly what hasn't (look at the trees):

Suprised they didn't add the side mirror blinkers...a la TSX, MB, Volvo et al.
Should I wait till they reveal the new rear design or should I go for the TSX? The suspense is killing me...

second one is the new design, not photoshop

So what does this prove:
1. The location of both shots is same
2. These are two different cars (see closely at the visible side of the tail lampson the new one, it has an undulation, that says at least a little in favor of the design change).
3. Second picture, however, was photoshoped later on to match the location background (coordinates) of the older model, this is obvious if you look at the countours of the second car, you will see some photoshop effect.

It's pretty amazing that they were able to align the leaves to exactly the same position for both pictures and that neither the tree or the bushes grew at all in the past year. It's equally amazing that they were able to wait for just the right amout of haze to appear on the horizon before they took the shot.
It's possible that the second picture is a photo of the new car but the foreground and background are definitely photoshopped.

no one realizes both are identical pictures?? it's very easy to change the look of the sky with a little color tweaking on photoshop and swap out the new bumper and wheels. nissan does this all the time...

The second picture is a lot crappier in quality, I'm sure if it was released by infiniti they wouldn't give a picture that looks like it was saved as a jpeg with 50% quality.

Since making things on Photoshop is a lot cheaper than an actual shoot out in the field you'll probably see less and less real photos. The only reality will be when seen in the dealer showroom.
