any wheel experts out there?
Hi all,
I am thinking about buying a new set of wheels for my tsx but I am not really good at determining the offset. The wheels I want are the Nakayama RSS Syouwa 10. Unfortunately, the largest they come in is 18 x 7.5...(I wish it was wider). Can anybody help me to find out a good offset would be so the wheel/tire is flush with the fender? I am not even sure if thats what the offset can accomplish. I searched this site and saw what offset they had but they had 19's and wider wheels so I thought mine is going to be different since mine are narrower. Any ideas please?????Any help guys is greatly appreciated. THANKS!
ps- Does any know if nakayama is a good brand?

- The TSX bodywork allows the rear wheel to be "tucked in" further than the front wheels. Thus if you want "flush" in the back, you'll be sticking out just a bit in the front.
- In addition, the size of tire you use also determines how far the over all wheel sticks out.
I personally used 7.5" wide and +48mm offset wheels with a 235mm tire and find that the front tire is largely flush with the front fender. Others have used +42mm offsets and 225mm tires and have a similar effect.
I think if you stay within that range, you'll be fine.
