jus take it to the audio shop and they will take care of it ...
go to
www.sirennet.com
www.lshlights.net
www.galls.com

for strobe kit if you want to do it yourself or buy the kit before going to the audio shop.

but r u sure u are allowed to have internal strobes as a firefighter?

check what i have done on my ride.

Those lights are very very buffy! (Don't worry, I am too) Make sure A) that you chose the right color strobes (green = ems, blue = fd, red = PD = not for civilians!)
and B) that you get a card from your dept allowing you to get out use said strobes. If not, you could get a ticket for using them. And just because you have them, does not entitle you to run red, pass over the double yellow, etc. I am sure your dept gave you the run down, That was just for other peoples education!

I have been a Volunteer FF for 8 years. What light was that one behind the mirror, and how much did it cost?

EDIT: NM i re read yours, i got it. thanks

state of NY is different from State of NJ i guess.
i'm not a police officer, i'm a cetified EMT.
btw, i'm a college student studying pre-med and actively volunteering in couple of ambulance stations for 4~5 yrs, both in NJ (home) and college (Ann Arbor, MI)

in state of NJ, EMTs use blue lights only.
we CANNOT have internal strobes (integrated into headlamp of tail lamps),
but we CAN use grill, dash, windshield strobe/LEDs.

i've done so many searches, and i 100% recommand the small phantom i have on the BACK windshield (2 sets)
they are thin, light, but love the random pattern (you can see that specific random pattern on the video i posted up there) and is very bright.
and most importantly, they are very cheap. they aren't single, but dual lightheads as well. 80~90 bucks
