Another tint question

Does it matter if you get a mobile tint or at a shop?

Are they supposed to remove panels?

How does the tint % work?

And yes I did a search but didn't find the answers to my questions, well at least the ones I'm asking.

1)Generally it doesnt matter if you get tint from a mobile tinter or a shop. A lot of people feel the shops will do a better job because they are more official, but I've seen plent of people have their tint done by a mobile tinter with great results.

2)They don't have to remove panels unless they are installing moleskin or felt.

3)the lower the % the darker.

either one is good. Just make sure you get a warranty with it. Many tinters/Tint shops offer a lifetime warranty.

A good shop will have a means to control dust and lint to reduce the chance of catching things under the tint. A mobile guy might have a harder time of this. You may get better warranty support from a shop versus a mobile guy. Especially if the shop has been around for awhile.
