Yeap...this is the 3rd one in 2 weeks...2 weeks ago, front bumper...then 2 days ago...rear bumper...now today...someone dinged into my rear right quater panel....great...

WTF is going on out there? There have been a lot more "ding" and "I've been hit" theads lately.

u know whats sad =T, its gotten to the point where im worried if I can get it home, which is in 2 1/2 weeks, without any more people running their bumpers or doors into mine...

I live in NYC. If I don't see a ding or a scratch on my car its a miracle.

There ahve been a lot more threads on people being hit. If it's possible, just try to park away from other parked cars. I always take the liberty and walk the extra mile if I have to.

im upstate in a collegetown aread right now, so we have college students who don't give a f...and townies.....

the crappy part is, i do park it away from people, i park it in the lot where there should be the least traffic, the very very very end....i overlap spaces too, but people just are....stupid.. ugh

is it okay to wait to get the dents removed later? I can't get to rallye body shop until 3 weeks to a month, will the dents have some permanent negativity if it stays there too long or does it not matter for those dent removal things?

If the paint hasn't been damaged at all you could try paintless dent removal. I've heard nothing but good about them.

yeah, i was going to see if they had that. the only part that annoys me is that its in the rear quarter pannel...ugh...im worried about fit and structure...more rattles for me i guess?

I was so frustrated when I lived up on L.I. and worked in the city every day, I was assured to get a new dent, ding, scratch or gouge each and every day. The final straw was when I had my car stripped twice in 6 months, I could not get out of NY and NYC fast enough for me or my Insurance company

Damn that sucks.. All these threads about dings and dents is giving me nightmares. Makes me not want to go out, for example: today i was in traffic and some asshole on a crotch rocket is coming through the traffic between the lanes, man I thought he was gonna hit my car, he got close. Also today I was in a turning lane and some huge 18 wheeler's speeding on the opposite end comes like 6 inces from my mirror almost ripping it off Its just enogh to almost give me a stroke, I cant even imagine how you must feel....
