Why go with 2 rings if you can get 3 rings?
Why pay $250 for "professional install" if you can get it done for $175?
I just don't see how Umnitza wins in any category in this choice personally.

personally I would get 6000k to match my low beams/fogs. I also don't know if the 3 rings will look as good as the two rings. three might be a bit too much.

3 rings? blah...that's too much and looks ridiculous.
why would you pay someone else to do something you can easily do your self? paying somone else to do this is a joke. throw your money into the fireplace, same difference.

Well, I don't think too many of us have actually seen a car that has
the 3 ring set installed outside of AAC's pictures.
But I guess what it really boils down to is personal opinion.
People buy the TSX for many different reasons.
Some people see it as sporty, some see it as classy.
People put different mods on for different reasons too.
Each of us has a different vision of what we like and what we want.
We can't all agree on everything...

Which is 3/11/08.
I'll mail them out Wednesday (3/12), they'll arrive by Friday at the latest (3/14),
they'll get shipped back by Wednesday (3/19) at the latest, I'll have them by
Friday the 21st of this month "plug and play" ready to install.
I'll probably do the install the same day or the day after.
So two weeks to go.
Too bad the Kenstyle body kit is for the 04/05 years...
oh, and as for having them do the install and not me:
The headlights cost me $750.
The halo kit cost me $200.
So basically that set of lights cost me $1000.
Can I do the work? Sure, I bet I can.
Would I make a mistake? Maybe, odds aren't so good, I've never attempted
to do such a project before.
Is professional installation plus a Lifetime Warranty on parts and labor worth
the cost of $175? To me yes, to others no. So what.
Lifetime Warranty on parts and labor, peace of mind, ease of operation,
professional installation job... $175. So yeah, I surely think it's worth it.
I hardly see it as being a joke.

Update!
Well, my lights arrived when I thought they would from ICB, on 3/11.
I inspected them, photographed them, and sent them to AAC on 3/12.
They arrived at AAC on 3/14 (which is today).
Well...
When they arrived, one of the lights was broken.
On the passenger side lamp, a pivot point for the leveling system
had snapped.
...
I was pissed!
Justin at AAC commented that this is not too unusual for TSX's.
And looking over this site and the other one, I do see lots of folks
who have experienced "dipped" lights on one side or the other before...
So I had two options, file an insurance claim (yes, I insured the package), or
have Justin fix it with a super strong adhesive...
Well seeing how the 06-08 JDM lights are so hard to find quickly and I would
probably have to wait forever for a new one, I told him to fix it. He did. No charge.
So I planned on having the lights shipped back to me next week sometime...
No sir.
They did the work today, working until late in the evening, and they'll be shipping
them back to me in the morning!
Big thumbs up there.
They did send me pics of what they look like, but I'll start my own thread
and post them in there, I'll wait until they come and post all the pics, installed
and all at the same time.
As far as the people and company go, AAC is a 10 out of 10 so far in my book.
They look sooo good in my opinion. The company is lightning fast and very
professional, they're great with communication.
Okay, okay, here's a teaser pic:

:o .... Ok, the teaser pic alone has convinced me to now buy the JDM's and get the Demon eyes. When I contact ACC I will use you as a referral.
Did you phone Justin or continuously contact him through email? What was the total price?

no calls, just e-mails, Justin is very quick in responding to all of them
no matter what I write.
Total price... Okay, here's the breakdown:
06-08 JDM lights from ICB Motorsport (JDMLand) = $689.97
Shipping from ICB to me = $46.75 (ouch!)
Total for the lights = $736.72
______
Demon Eyes Halo Kit from AAC = $199
Installation charge from AAC = $175 (So I sent them a $374 check)
Shipping from me to AAC (2 day Priority Mail) = $19.15 (which included signature confirmation)
Shipping from AAC back to me (Same, 2 day...) = $19.15
Total charge for the Halo Kit = $412.30
_____
Total out of pocket expense: $1,149.02
Some expensive headlamps for sure!
I have 8500k Kaixen HID bulbs and 4300k H11 fog bulbs to go
with the new 8000k Halo Kit, it'll all blend in perfectly.
Lifetime guarantee on parts and labor from AAC to go with it too.
When they come in I'll put some Rockblocker on them (clear) and
install them.
One more teaser pic:

Well he works with them far more than we do.
This is exactly what he had to say about it:
"Its actually a very common problem with the TSX lights. We get these used and
abused just to get the projectors out of them and this seems to happen to most
of them.
I used a super strong adhesive on it and I think it will be adequate. If you install
the lights and one looks "dipped" when you test the output on a wall that would
be symptomatic of this being broken again.
The lights will be ready to go out in the morning, I scheduled a USPS pickup so
they will get to you early next week.
I will fwd you some pics."
I just hope this isn't a problem in the future...
Really hope. Damn USPS.
Another pic:
I know what you mean about the driver/passenger thing.
First thing I noticed and asked about when I got the car, kinda thought
it was broken, but I understand it all now.

AAC is super great company, super quick too.
Man, they should be paying me to say this...
They earned it though, they're great people, Justin is a
pleasure to deal with.
They've already been shipped back to me and they'll be
here Tuesday. There will probably be nothing stopping me
from installing them immediately...
Well, I take that back.
I ordered a foglight harness to wire these things to last week.
That hasn't shown up yet. If it's not hear by tuesday, I'll have
to wait to install them until it shows up. That harness is my
power source and on/off switch for them.
I was hoping my suspension would come in today so I could stay
busy while waiting for the lights, but no go. Only the RSB came
in, and that's not a big project at all. So time to wait on the USPS...

Ah, i want these now. Unfortunately I can't do any car work on campus. 1) it is against the rules and 2) I don't have the necessary equipment up here. However I will be doing this when I go home for summer break in 2 months.

Malish, this Q&A is directly from the ACC website.
Q: Will installing the Demon Eyes void my warranty?
A: Most dealerships will regard the Demon Eyes kit in the same manner as a fog-light kit. Since these Halos have a completely separate wiring harness, the electrical system on the vehicle is unaffected.
