That's not old for this car. 31 might be old compared to people who post on these forums but I bet the average age of the TSX owner falls somewhere in the mid 30's. I just turned 32 but I felt like I was 5 and just got a new bike for christmas when I got my TSX.

Oh yeah...I forgot...back when I got my second oil change, there was an old couple (60s) that drove up in their PWP TSX and dropped off their car for an oil change.... And they're not too old

...I'm 55. While I really like the TSX as a practical, well made, smallish mid sized family car, I sort of agree that I'm too old for the TSX, at my age I should be driving an Enzo or Carrera GT! But like most of us I suffer with what I can afford so for fun I drive a '95 Supra turbo slightly pumped up to crank out about 520hp.
We actually got the TSX about two months ago for my wife but I've been driving it mostly so far ...until this week when I told her she'd better get used to it and drive it and not worry about her shiney little new car or I'm taking it over permanently
she loves it too.

Or were you trying to pick another Acura model name I was TSX watching today, and I'd say the average TSX pilot I see is older than me (I'd say mid 30s to 40s), with more estrogen (I'd say 50 mcg/mL or so).

Thanks for all of your insights....I feel better now...LOL I actually bought the car for many of the same reasons that you all had mentioned......realiability, commuter practicality, fun to drive, better gas mileage (almost 10 Mpg more than my Passat V6 4-Motion). To be honest, I also wanted a sleeker sportier looking car than my Passat.

When I sat in the CG/black interior I had the overwhelming sensation---'this is a kid's car'--felt too young and sporty. Then I gravitated to the PWP/parchment and it grabbed me. Looked bigger, more luxurious and elegant, and as a mature geezer in his early 50's felt right at home. Something about the TL OTOH struck me as an older person's car. These are all intangibles, feelings for which we may or may not know the reasons. Bought a month ago w/o a shred of remorse. Still think about the Legacy GT wagon I spent a year trying to talk myself into though--will miss that cargo versatility. Will still consider buying it or the Forester next year or two.

Let's see I'm 61 and can afford a TSX so what's the problem. My fully outfited TSX drives almost as good as my Goldwing (motorcycle) which I put on 30,000 miles a year on, just for the fun of it. Who ever came up with this age = model car thing needs to get out in the real world a little more often. I can see strange things can happen to your grey matter when you spend to much time at their monitors.

one is never too old for any car...you just have to get what you want...

I don't want to offend the young crowd, but I'm buying TSX in order to drive my kids to school. Sounds like we have a lot of "mature" young people.
Originally, I was ordering a MINI Cooper until I realized I'm too old (30+) and the car is too small.
Always considered TSX an 25+ person's car. Are we forgetting this is a sportier and classier version of the 4 door family sedan Honda Accord?
If I'm 25, reckless and w/o kids, I would be getting 2 door cars like MINI Cooper S, WRX, or S2000. Now those cars are fun. I see a lot of people 50+ in my area driving TL. Then again, I also see people 50+ driving MINI Cooper. When my kids leave for college, I'll selling TSX and getting a MINI Cooper S or S2000. By then I'll be one of the bald guy on the road with a convertible.
