Alarm Remote question......tried search

A friend gave me an Acura Remote from a 2000 Integra. The buttons are the exact same as the TSX ones I've seen and other then the color there's no physical diff. Can I use this on my TSX? Mine didn't come with one so I was hoping I could program this to work with my car.

Anybody have any luck with this? How do I program it? I think i program it using the homelink keys but i don't remember where I found that info.

thanx!!!

You can try it, but I think it is a different technology and security method. We have plenty of info on how to program it on here.

your right, i rephrased my search. Basically you turn ign. on, then hit lock or unlock, turn ign. off. do this 3 times, confirm then hit remote button a second time.
In the instructions it keeps calling it a transmitter then it says to hit the "remote" button a 2nd time to lock in code. What and where is the "remote" button or did they all of a sudden change the terminolgy?

Our "antenna" is integrated into the area where the driver's side window buttons and lock button is. Done story though, it doesn't work.

nice!! just got a remote out of a junkyard. Thing was in an '04 that was hit on the side. Looked like the letter "C". I was really surprised to find one. Actually I didn't believe it was one until I got closer. Anyways, found the remote under the pass. seat so I took it. Followed the instructions on how to program it, wa la! free remote!!
