Hey you guys,
Just wondering if you guys are irritated with the noise of the a/c. I have a 06' TSX auto w/nav and I feel like it's just as loud as my 94' Accord. Is this noise common? Just wondering. Thanks!!!

i don't notice any noises, just the purr of the air blowing. anything 2 or below is basically inaudible.

Your hearing must be very sensitive. My hearing is very sensitive as well. It does get a bit loud for me as well sometimes, even at 2, that it bothers me and I shut it off. I tend to hear unnecessary things.

I try to protect my hearing...I don't play music loud. I haven't heard anything wrong with the a/c...2 and below is pleasant and not so noticeable. 3 and above is somewhat loud only because it's moving tons of air

No...not the air blowing through the vents. I believe it's the fan turning off and on. I only hear this when using the a/c not heater. Is that normal? Or should I have it taken look at?

no noise - although in really hot weather you can feel the a/c engage/disengage a the car will slow/speed up.

You're probably hearing the compresser kicking on and off. My old car I could always tell when the compressor kicked in because it made the car louder and caused a slight vibration. In the TSX however, I can't really tell when it kicks in. Maybe you should mention it to the dealer.

At high fan speeds, the fan bearing noise is irritating! Only started happening after 1.5 years.

I have that in my 1998 Path. The compressor makes a noise, which I've been thinking sounds like a bearing gone bad... I don't hear a thing on my TSX though. The only thing I'll ever hear/feel is that the engine idle speed will go up a couple of hundred revs to handle the extra load of the compressor. Have it checked out, this doesn't sound normal at all!
