Tried search for aftermarket seats, race seats, even just seats, nothing.

I really do not like the stock seats. I'm fairly small 5'7" 150lbs and the seats don't provide much support. Plus i'm not to into the leather.

Not worried about losing the seat heaters or the lumber as I rarely use them. And the power seat thing is nice but could care less about having powere seats or not. I'm to the point now that my seat is moving pretty often under braking, acceleration turning etc.. I know the dealer can fix it but i'm at 76k so i'm pretty well out of warranty and i'm not paying to have it fixed.
I've found a couple nice seats, adjustable, micro suede etc.. for around $300 each with the sliders. I can't find brackets though. Sparco and corbeau and others make side mount brackets but I don't know if that will "fix" the seat in one position or if the sliders mount to the brackets and i can adjust forward or backward. If it was just me that drives it, I'd have it stationary but my wife drives it alot as well and she sits a lot closer then I do.
Anybody know of TSX specific brackets or can I use some for an accord or rsx or something else? anybody have aftermarket seats in there? how would changing the seats affect the airbags?

Yeah I tried modacar but it seems like the only brackets they have are side mounts. I know that with my corbeau's (sp?) in my crx, my side mounts won't let the seat move. I definetley need the for and aft movement.

There is a set of JDM Euro-R Recaros on sale in the Black Market. You may need custom brackets to make them fit, but if I were you, I would start with those.

Isn't the side airbag built into the seat?

Yes, thats why a lot of RICERS do this MOD because they don't drive nice cars with Side Airbags.

XENONHID- are you implying that aftermarket seats are for ricers? I can't see your smilies so i'm not sure if your being sarcastic or not. Why is the TSX so nice as to not need improvements? The TSX is a good car but nothing special in any way. It can def. use improvements.
Anyways, the stock seats hurt my back and I can't stand leather.
As for the sideair bag, yes, it's built into the seat but if it's not there it's no big deal. How many years were you driving before they even had air bags?
I just don't want the air bag light to be on so it will pass state inspection. The front airbags I want to work, as well as the others for my passengers safety.

been here, done this in my rsx.. i too wanted some nice sporty seats (plus i lived with mom and dad and had a butt load of extra cash).. so i got the sparco milano's.. very nice, very expensive.. i thought how can i got wrong..?? right?? well let me tell you, what a HUGE waste of money (around $1800+).. i wished i never done it.. if your airbag light is on then non or the air bags will work btw.. the seats were really just for show.. had a hole worn in them in about a year, and yes i take care of the stuff.. it sucks trying to find quality brackets for them..
the only seat ive seen worth the money would be the jdm recaro's.. that would be the ONLY jdm/aftermarket/oem seat i would buy.. good luck..
