2004 TSX, 58k miles

Hi: Went to the Acura dealer today for intermittent SRS light. They are replacing the Driver side seat belt buckle under warranty.

They said I should do something called an "Aerosol Carbon Eliminator Service" for $160.
Anyone ever hear of this? Sound's like undercoating.


They also want to replace the water pump just because of the mileage (58K). Should I do this?

they are trying to upsell you.
you came in for free service, they want to at least nickel and dime you.

if you are not having issues, and are using top tier gasoline, then you shouldnt need the "aerosol carbon cleaner", as top tier fuels have cleaners and detergents in them.

and to replace the water pump "just because of low mileage" is absurd. LOL
