i dunno about the "devoted their lives modding cars ..." part on the tagline. this actually might draw non-AZ tsx owners away from this site as just another "ricer" site. i mean pretty much all of the TSX's i see on the street here are bone stock.

Might want to focus more on the fact that we're a huge on-line community with a wealth of information for, and an opportunity to interact with, all owners, not just modders.

Maybe I'll have some prototypes ready for the next meet we're having.

Hehe yeah the actual text i did't really think through. I wanted it to be funny at first (especially with the "devoted their lives" part) then i just gave up so it might not make sense lol. I figured i'd leave the actual text up to you guys and just toos up some text that gives the person the jist of the website.

I made a business card based off MTLer's images that I think are simpler.
Business card front:
Business card back:
I have the psd files if anyone wants them, can just take them to Kinko's and voila!

I think thats really funny but there are probably quite a bit of people who dont care about how fast their car is (especially the TSX but true) yet they still love their car and may be interested in coming onto the site
p.s.- I really like the back of the card. Good wordage hehehe

To save on color printing costs, can you try doing them with a white background?
Also, for the first template, move the AcuraZine to the top of the page and see what that looks like.

Sure, I'll give the color change a whirl. However, I think leaving the logo at the bottom tells the story of what acurazine is better. The first few phrases entice the reader, and acurazine is the punch line afterwards. If they just read acurazine first, they won't know what the heck it's in reference to.
They're meant to be a double-sided business card as opposed to 2 separate templates.

Sounds right. But the thing that throws it off a little is the fact that it's a wide band 2/3 of the page down. Your eyes instinctively look at the wide band without noticing or reading what's above or below. If you place it on the top, you do draw immediate attention to the Acurazine, but then it makes you want to read the bottom and the back. Like a business card, where the name of the company is always on top, and the contact's information is always on the bottom. BTW, not arguing with you here, I think you did a great job and I want to start utilizing these!

Actually, I think you're right on the band, especially with the orange at such a high contrast to the blue. (Good ole NY Knicks colors)
Lemme experiment real quick with a color change and re-organization of the front's layout. I'll be done in 15 minutes.

White is a little boring... you could use a marker and color it in blue if the printing costs are too much

Tomorrow, I'll call up Kinko's to find out what formats they take for business cards. I presume they would take Photoshop files but if I need to convert over to Illustrator, no problem.
Also, lemme edit the backside of the card as well. The coloring doesn't match the front side of the card.

Here's the final back.
I called up Kinko's to find pricing and format questions.
They'll take Photoshop files, so who can I e-mail to have them hosted for download somewhere on the site?
Price for double-sided gloss cards is $2.50 for a sheet of 10-cards (un-cut). Double-sided cards effectively double the cost of the card unfortunately. That being said, I still think it's the way to go I don't mind spending a quarter per card.
That being said, whoever wants them, send me a PM with your e-mail address and I'll e-mail you the files.

We should also be able to purchase the blank business card cutouts from staples or whatnot and use the card wizard in word and simply paste this picture on the template and print them out.
I give that a shot and see if it's actually doable. You have my PM.
