Acura TSX badges.

I don't know if anyone has done this or wants to do this but is there anyplace out there to obtain Acura TSX badges in either black or carbon grey?

Also, has anyone tried to change their TSX badges?

I am just wondering because I am thinking about changing my badges to give the car a more monochromatic look and didn't know if I should just get new ones or work on painting the ones I have.

Thanks for looking and hopefully someone out there has some information regarding this.

Any idea where they are getting them from? I haven't had much luck with Google to find out.

I think I saw CanyonBall with a modified A symbol. He made it black chrome I think and did it himself. I would try to hit him up or do a search.

Please don't paint it the same color as your car. That makes it look like the car was repainted by a careless body shop. If you do it, do a black chrome or something.

Thanks for the suggestion MotoHip. I was debating the idea of same color as car or black and now that I read your post it was like a light going off in my head.

So...is the general idea to go with black if I paint them? (My TSX is Carbon Grey btw).

Wow, I influenced someone!

Yes, go with black, but actually not even black. Get a dark gunmetal color and make sure it's shiny as hell. I say black chrome, but I don't know how or where you'd get that.

My original idea, if I could not find pre-painted badges, was to have them powdercoated. So I guess I will go with a black, black chrome or black powdercoat type of color.

you can get the black chrome badges from the acura 3.2 TL and use the A (or ACURA). accsuperstar and myself (at one point) had them.

the color looks stunning, much better than paint or powdercoating could ever look

Ok. So after seeing those badges, I have to say that my idea of painting them myself is just out the window. That Acura badge is very cool! Where did you order those from and is there any way to get all the badges for the TSX like that?

I even wanted to change out the front 'A' in the grill.

Those are probably, IMO, the coolest badges I have seen on a TSX thus far.
