Honda won't make a v6 version of the TSX. There is no reason for them too. The TSX works just fine with a I4 and the TL has a V6 for people who think they need a V6.

I will go against the flow here and predict that acura will offer a higher cyclinder engine in the TSX (but i think it wont be for a few years).
The reason I believe this is because it will become harder and harder to keep up with the power and torque of the competitiion. I'm sure honda can keep up on HP with their 4 cyl, but not toruqe. There is no replacement for displacement. Well, except a turbo and honda doesnt seem to like that option either.
The only way I think Honda can get by without adding cylinders or turbo, is their hybrid system. We'll see I guess.

I know for the most part, acura wants to take on a luxury corporate image but comanies like nissan, infinite, mitsi...producing all wheel drive/rear wheel drive cars...i think acura will want to compete with the g35's.
So i can see an all wheel drive option for the TSX and a rear wheel drive option for the TL....and maybe a power increase or a a-spec version of the TSX to come around 2007

I guess in a few years the TSX may get a more aggressive version (losing weight which wouldn't be hard and increasing the HP a little and more aggressive ratios). I really doubt the 6 will ever be offered on the TSX.
Look at the special editions for honda has ever made. The Type-S, Type-R, A-Spec, Zanardi edition... They all have the same engine as the non souped up version.
Also, the 4 cylinder resale value would probably go down as well...

You would be amazed at what just 6-8 psi of boost via a low pressure turbo would do for the K24: 220 lb-ft or so of torque, 250 or more hp... (Note that the WRX etc. use high pressure turbos that are more lag prone)
