acura owners' site

i live in canada, and i don't think there is an owners' website that services this market. i've signed up for the honda america owners' site (http://www.ahm-ownerlink.com/), which has some great features, but it doesn't help me here (with service, etc.).

i've emailed acura canada about why they don't offer this service, but nothing yet.

i'm just curious if the site is as good as it looks. are people using it? what works, what doesn't?

signed,

Funny story to share regarding Ownerlink. I asked my ever so knowledgeable salesperson about why Acura doesn't have OnStar. He replied that Acura has it's own satelite and its own system called Ownerlink. Of course it's the most retarded answer on the face of this Earth, but I thought I'd share. Scummy salespeople.

TSX has OnStar. You have to push the center "homelink" button twice. Its easy to activate if you have Navi but its a royal pain to do it with just the radio controls on my non-navi.

I usually press the "Voice Command" button on the steering wheel and then say, "I've fallen, and I can't get up!" Try it.

So, I just found out there is a hidden vioce command. Just lean forward in the driver's seat, press the voice-recognition button, and say "Deploy Airbag".

This is the ONLY way to activate the OnStar safety feature.

Honest, just try it.......
