AC / VENT question ...

I've read many threads here involving the operation of the air condiotioning and climate control. I'm coming off a 99 TL with no nav and now I have an 05 TSX with nav.

My question: WHAT IF I JUST WANTED OPERATE THE HEAT via just running vents with the AC off ... meaning no ac and compressor going on and off. How would one do that in the 05 TSX with nav

I have a Non-nav car, so someone with a Nav may be able to do a better job at answering this, but with my car I can switch it to "AC OFF". I just hit the AC button and it goes from Auto to AC ON, then hit it again and the AC goes OFF and stays off.
I can then run the heat all I want with AC off. Although sometimes in the winter this is a recipe for fogged up windows.

My best guess is, hit your AC button till you see some indication that the AC is off. Should work very similar to the Non-nav car.

First you hit the A/C button to enter the manual operation of the A/C screen. Then you are able to select A/C manual control On/Off. To adjust for heat, you would use the temperature control bars on the side of the navi screen or voice command, "Temperature Up" or "Temperature (specific degrees)".
