About to be a '07 TSX Owner

As the title states I'm going to buy a black '07 TSX! I've been doing some research for the past months going from an Infiniti G35x to a BMW 328i and didn't even consider Acura. Then I drove by the Acura dealership, test drove a TSX, then Acura became a true contender. The BMW was nice but I didn't want to pay for expensive maintenance or repairs. The G35x was great and very powerful but was a tad out of my price range and the V6 produced bad mpg. So I finally settled on the TSX, will be hopefully picking it up tomorrow

Congratulations and welcome. You'll be more than happy with your TSX. It's truly and incredible machine for the money.

Welcome to the club! I have owned a 2007 CPO TSX for about 1 month now and am loving it. No regrets! getting good gas mileage too- 30.5-32 mpg on the hwy. I hope you know that the TSX has a recall on it and just double-check that the dealer has taken care of that issue for your car.

Would like to hear what you ended up paying for this car. Of course, it does vary quite a bit based on your location.

Enjoy!

Congrats! I too just bought a 6-speed 2007 TSX three weeks ago and couldn't be happier. I looked at the usual suspects: A4, 3-series, S40, etc. for nearly a year and quite honestly I don't think anything out there outshines the TSX for fun, looks, and reliability. Enjoy!

Hahah...I wish I could get that. The closest I get is about 23 with 70% highway driving...I guess I have a lead foot. No matter what I do on the highway if i hit the accelerator even slightly my instant MPG drops from the top down to 20....I can't win! I also tried to ease up when taking off and the instant MPG still drops to where it does even when I'm driving normally.

I've found too that even a little around town driving can really spoil your average. I can usually maintain around 28 (in the warm weather) even cruising at speeds approaching 85 and above (I'm envious of those that can cruise at 70. I'm sure my average would be well above 30, but I spend allot of time on the highway, and time is, well..... you pick up the minutes where you can) and it often surprises me how much effect even 10%-20% of a tank spent puttsing around town has on my average.
