6MT/Navi availability
I am getting ready to buy a 6MT/Navi TSX by the end of this month. However, I find that the 4 dealerships (in about 35mile radius) have only 1 or atmost 2 6MT/Navi's in their inventory.
I was wondering how many people in this forum have walked into a dealership and driven out in a 6MT/Navi....
Is there anything I should keep in mind or look out for if the dealer offers to locate one from another dealership or place a factory order .. please advice.

I had to put a deposit down on a vehicle that was coming in around 3-4 weeks before I could get it. I am still waiting. That was last week, so hopefully it will be soon.

I waited about 4 wks for my 6 MT CGP/Quartz w/Navi. in the DC area. There was one identical car except w/ ebony interior that was available in the multistate area, but the dealers wanted to charge an extra transport fee, and I didn't want ebony b/c it's too hot (and too monochrome for me). Because so few people buy MTs these days, the dealers don't put many in their inventories. In almost any major metro area, I imagine you will have to deposit and wait. In smaller mkts., you may luck out and find one on a dealer lot. Unfortunately, I think the days of the MT are numbered (not just for the TSX or Acura, but in general). Even the relatively young guys on this forum don't want them b/c of traffic, juggling coffee, etc. etc. All sorts of lame excuses if you ask me. It's a whole different experience driving one, and those clutchless push button shift-0-matics don't even come close. The demand (or lack thereof) drives the availability. But it's worth the wait. Mine is smooth shifting and sweet, and a blast to drive!

I wasn't even going to buy that car the day at the dealarship. Walked in with an Integra and walked out with the only and last 6MT no nav...figures. On the other hand the salesperson said the AT resells better than the MT so....you get the picture.

I went in on a Saturday, left the same day with a NHB/EBO 6 speed Navi. However, because there where only two of that combo in TX at the time...and both of them were at the dealership I bought it at, there was not much room to negotiate. (I confirmed the invetory with a friend at Gunn Acura-San Antonio)
