4 cylinder vs v-6

The difference between a four cyl and a six cyl is two cyls.
Seriously, it is hard to generalize because we don't know WHICH six cyl you have driven. But, in general, the TSX lacks the low end torque of a six, but gives you power that is competitive at higher revs.

And V6s are in V's, whereas I4s are in I's.
Drive them and see if you find a difference that matters to you. Everything we argue is academic.

Just kidding, but I've never heard that word used quite like that before. Did you mean stressed?

Some configurations dont' require any balance shafts which do have some parasitic effect on an engines power. It's minimal but they are driven of a crankshaft belt.

The difference is in fuel economy where an I-4 will consume way less gas than a V-6.
Strike that. Judging by my fuel economy figures, my TSX has Honda's first production V-8 jammed into the engine bay.
I always read/hear/assume that a six is SMOOTHER.
