32.1 Mpg!!!
Drove from penn state to connecticut this past weekend. I always reset my trip after I fill up gas. I drove 399.4 miles on 12.424 gallons of gas, which comes up to 32.1 MPG!!!! LOVE IT!

Hopefully, when summer comes around the TSX will see more driving on the highway and mpg will go up.

Nice. I'm jealous. My best is 27ish and that's with lots of highway driving.

As for me, I achieved 32mpg when I drove to Toronto last fall set on cruise control at a constant 65mph, but maybe the west winds helped increase my mileage cuz I had less resistence and some push lol. As of late however, I've been getting averaging 21mpg cuz of the constant heavy traffic and congestion I have to deal with here. I try not to accelerate rapidly or brake suddenly in my car, those elements can hurt your gas mileage!

2. Environmental factors (temperature, road conditions, altitute, traffic)
3. Quality of fuel (varies across brands, octane numbers, geographic location)
4. State of tune of motor
5. State of car (tire pressure, aerodynamic add-ons, heavier wheels, tires, and brakes, passenger and cargo).
6. Calculation error (some people aren't as precise as others or some pumps are "fixed" illegally)
My best run ever was not even intended as a fuel economy run, it was a blitz down to Seattle and back at 80 mph, during which I got 6.97 L/100 km or 34 US MPG. Hugely satisfying, one aspect of the car I am very pleased with.
(usual driving averages out to about 24 MPG, but heavy gridlock in Vancouver so not that bad)

I don't have a TSX but my EPA numbers are in the same ballpark (25/31). I've found head/tail wind is the biggest factor on road-trips, as well as to what extent I am driving in someone elses wake. Overall mileage is a little better from Spring thru Fall, too, but this is not as much a factor in highway driving.
30-32 is very typical in "neutral" conditions (e.g. calm day, not driving behind cars very much). I've gotten 34.5 in heavy but steadily flowing holiday traffic when there is a long line of cars in front of you pushing the air out of your way.
On a 300 mile road trip in March with a 20-25 mph headwind, gusting over 30 mph, I got only 26 mpg. I was getting blown around so much I finally started tailing SUVs -- made a big difference in the driving comfort at least...
