And no acura dealership in town back on campus. I want to get an oilchange sometime soon before I have to road trip on back home to Cincinnati and I wanted to know if I can just go ahead and change the oil at a Honda dealer, and oh yeah how much would the whole oil/filter change run me?

Oil change at the dealer should be fine - cost depends on exactly what you tell them to do.

According to the manual, I don't think you need an oil change untill 6k, this due to the original addictive(Molly) that Honda puts in the original oil. You need to keep it ther for the period of time.
