3-4 sounds good, someone want to pick a place?

Anyone else interested in a mini meet March 25th? We could make it later then the BBQ so people could still go to that if they wanted, we would get more people then.

I've never heard the words 'Carlisle' and 'amazing' in the same sentance before, heh.

But really, Gravelly point sounds like a great one if they don't chase us out of there. I've been there a bunch, its a natural picnic area, so I don't see why it would be bad.

D&B is a no go, I heard that at the last meet security chased people out of the lot. I wasn't there, and I bet some of you were, so let me know if that's incorrect.

White Flint Mall security has never hassled us before. It was when they decided to hold a meet in Tyson's that security became a hassle and broke up the meet.

I'm game for either... who wants to make the executive decision?

I bet if we can finalize a place and time for this 1 or 2 others will jump in.

BTW, I got my car back together

Another 30 minutes of jiggling it and the damn box just went back into place like nothing had happened. I still never mangaged to get it out, but at least now its not wedged in the wrong place and keeping the top storage compartment hanging by the light cable. sigh.

So, my setup is nearly complete. This has been the DIY from hell for me, but I imagined it would go something like this anyway hehe. A true novice installing an amp for the first time and wiring everything himself, no help but the pics and chatter from AZ. I still don't have a remote turn on wire connected, but I did route one all the way to the front. Maybe we can do that at the meet. I'll bring my power inverter and soldering gear. I'm REALLY hoping that the signal sensing turn on feature works off the low-crossed-over signal from the 6x9s, not one has tried it and its an unknown. Otherwise i have to get that remote turn on wire connected afterall...

Oh, the grommet / hole in the firewall on the 5ATs? It doesn't exist on the 2006s (yes, I'm sure). Just an fyi. I had to drill a hole to get cable to the battery. Scary to do for the first time but no biggie really.

I got speaker adapters from CC, cut the spades off and soldered it to a LOC, disconnected the 6x9s and patched them to my new contraption, and tied it all to the roof of the trunk with zipties. Low signal, crossed over, RCA-output achieved. whoopdeedoo.

Tomorrow, ground the amp, connect the power, get some speaker wire and spade cable ends from the RShack, and FINALLY enjoy my sub. 4 day install gone wrong

Well, I just found out yesterday i've got to go out of town this weekend, Friday - Sunday.

Since it was just like 3 of us to begin with, I guess its off. We should probably save our gusto for the May picnic anyway. I can have more parts to install by then too. And hopefully, new wheels.

Next you can start doing custom work. I mean my first Install was just a box with the amp mounted to the floor with heavy duty velcro and the box the same. Then I migrated to this.

and then to this which I have now.

no pictures of it lit up but the amp box still has neons in it.

Goddamnit, of course HIN is one of the weekends I'm in Pittsburgh.
Turns out I'm going this weekend too, but this one wasn't as planned.

Ahk!!!

Ahk!!!

Ok people, I have a problem... wedding stuff already.

So that weekend is the only one that Ashley can get time off so we are going to have to go to KY that weekend to pick out a place!

Any chance anyone can move it up to the 30th?

If not I'm gonna cry

damnit you were supposed to be going to carlisle. this marriage thing is screwing things up already I say you call it off j/k.

I might be able to do the 30th if it is moved to then. which means we might be able to do a Colts, Fury, Lito Super JDM Photo Shoot.
