24 hours until delivery... changed my mind!
Argh, for the life of me I cannot decide on the final color combo of my car!!!
After some unfortunate news from my dealer about the availability (read: lack of availability) of Glacier Blue TSXs *anywhere*, he convinced me to pick a second favorite color and run with it. I went and looked at the silver, the black, the green (he had one, surprisingly), and then... WHAM. Carbon Gray. Its not like I haven't seen it before, but sitting in a row with the others it made my decision easier.
I didn't have my checkbook on me, and I need to get insurance in order, so I couldn't drive it off I swapped my deposit onto that car and had it set aside. I pick it up tomorrow evening. ( Its got 8 miles on it )Here's to hoping I don't change my mind... AGAIN!
as an aside: anyone else think the carbon gray is almost ( almost ) green?

why not just order one from the factory? if ur gonna be driving it around for the next few years...possibly more....you want a color that u love...i have a SILVER TL...and im so happy i got the color more than anything....but there are so many times where i wish i got black instead.....so don't make this a regretful choice

The TSX is such a great car, I think no matter what you went with in your top 5, you'll be very happy with it. Glacier Blue was my #1 choice and the dealer (surprisingly) was able to get one through a swap in three weeks after I ordered it. Everytime I saw another color, Royal Blue, Carbon Gray, I kept second guessing my first choice. When I finally went to pic up the Glacier Blue at the dealership, I'm glad I waited.

That's just it... its not the color that made me want the car... it was the TSX!
I'd be happy with CG, GB, RBP Silver... mostly I'll just be happy to have the car. What I won't be happy with is waiting 3+ months for a GB only to like it marginally better than something I could have now.
The only thing I really wanted to avoid was the parchment interior. I know its just a matter of personal taste but I couldn't stand that wood look. It was far too light and in your face for me. Something in a darker burl, similar to what MB uses in my E320, would have been a lot nicer. With the Ebony interior on the TSX, there is a nice 2 tone feel, even the Quartz has a 3 tone issue around the middle of the dash and on the door panels.
You best believe... pics will follow. Mods next (some light mods), though, no engine mods till 1000 miles just to be safe.

I'm just a moderator and don't have those kinds of powers.
On a side note, of the TSX colors I've seen in person, there isn't one I don't like. I don't care for black cars in general but a cleaned and waxed black one looks mighty fine. I'm kinda partial to my PWP.

Anyways, Royal Blue Pearl....best color. I'm not a fan of any of the silvers, since i see silver everywhere!
just realized SSM is satin silver....no longer avail on 2006 so i didnt know about it.
RBP rules though!

RBP was indeed my next choice. I would have had to wait a long time to get one though, like GB, so that made the decision easy.
CG/Ebony from dealer stock, can't get any better.

If anything, the interior is more important since you'll be looking at it most of the time. Don't make a bad decision on interior, get what you really want, not what others say is "practical."

I got a CGP w/ quartz interior and was looking for a black interior for such a long time, but with all the dealerships in my area they could still not find one. In the end I went and looked at the quartz interior and was very surprised how good it looked. I thought it would be too light and show every mark, but its just right. Plus in CA cars get super hot in the sun and the black interior would just make things worse!! I knew I wanted the CGP and no other color even though certain dealerships were tempting me with a silver or black.
In the end I waited and finally got the CGP and I'm so happy with it. It was worth the wait !
I agree the CGP does look very blue in certain lights, and other times it can almost look black.
Definetely hold out for the colors you want if you have the time.

I forgot it was white while out on the drive, and when I got out of the car and saw it was white I was like WTF........OH YA. The PWP with Ebony looks really nice. For me though, it had to be black/ebony vs any other colours.
i think the PWP is gorgeous but too "luxury and refined" when i want a sportier color. RBP is perfect, NBP is sweet too, but i dont want a black car right now.

Its arrived
Couldn't be happier. Love the colors. CG / Ebony. Beautiful.
More pictures this weekend when its sunny and I have time. Unfortunatly I work during all sunlight hours at this point in the year. Maybe I can steal away some lunch hour for a drive tomorrow. I'll break her in easy for 600 until, and stay out of SS and my usual spirited driving.

He said Maryland.... try Rosenthal, they just got a new shipment. According to their website they have one now, but that isn't always the most accurate information.
