My friend is looking at this car. Does anyone have an Idea of what a good price will be for him to pay?

Non nav, ouch! I wouldn't even get a non-nav. I'd hold firm on $25k and see what happens.

I don't think it is a very good price. I'm not sure about your area but Ive seen certified 08 TL's with similar mileage for the same price.

IMO, a fair price would be $25k. Anything above 25K would represent a premium.

But, since the 1G is no longer being produced and the 2G represents a major change, it is sensible for the dealer to add some extra to the listed price. Then, if it doesn't move in a couple of months, they can reduce the price.

If the car has already been on the lot for a couple of months, then you might find that the dealer is willing to entertain a reasonable offer. As usual, it becomes a matter of supply and demand in your area. Dealers generally have no trouble moving a TSX off the lot.

Listen, I got a sky-blue 05 TSX with auto transmission and nav system, with 24k miles for about $13,500. It has salvage title, but I know what was the damage bc I bought it off an auction. I simply had to replace 2 left doors since they were bent. I see exact same TSX's on the web for 23-25k, but I paid 13.5 k. Think about this, this is a VAST saving and I have experience with salvaged cars and know others who have them. It is a myth that those cars are garbage. If u get one after an accident with minor damage and let a body shop fix it, it will be just fine. My father's friend bought 95 camry back in 99 with 40 k miles. It now has 330k miles and still runs and it had salvage title since that times. How? it had rear end damage.

On the other hand, if you plan to keep the car, it can be a very good deal. How much do you think you can get for a 99 camry with 330K miles?
