2008 Acura TSX System Function Error
I have a 2008 Acura TSX that I'm trying to get on the road, been parked for 3 years ! Its running with the following error messages.
01-TPMS, I filled the low tires and haven't driven it yet until I register and insure it, then the message should clear !
Is there a manual method to clear it ?
02-I also have a message "Maintenance is Overdue" - I can't seem to be able to clear that message per the owners manual.
It mentions cycle thru display until you see "Oil Life" and reset that, the "Oil Life" never displays no matter how many times I cycle thru displays.
03- I have this last message "System Function Error" which maybe the root cause for the other message !
Is there a way to clear this message ?
Thanks

01) I believe a handheld Honda Diagnostic System computer can reset the TPMS, but no one is likely to have this on hand. you'll have to gamble by driving to see if the TPMS registers or if you have a failed unit.
02) I believe you can hold down the "OK" button for 12 or more seconds and it will reset the maintenance is over due message.
03) Maybe battery is weak, causing these issues?
