2006 TSX Won't Start

Hi Everyone!

I'm looking for some help with my 2006 Acura TSX. The car just won't start... I replaced the fuel pump relay, the fuel pump itself and checked the associated fuse. Still won't start. Battery is newer (about 2 years old) and it died from not being driven much these days but I did charge the battery. Car does crank but just won't start. I haven't confirmed if power is getting to the fuel pump itself but I really don't have any reason to think it wouldn't be.

Any thoughts on what it could be?

Yes, you are correct. The ECU was corroded. An Acura dealer in Portland, OR closed the recall on it without putting the covers around it as per the recall...poor service right there! Had to fight with Corporate Honda/Acura, but finally got them to accept accountability and replace it for free.

Im currently fighting this issue with the dealer as well. They are not granting me the recall even though it has corrosion.

Escalate to Corporate Acura and open a case. The dealer took a short cut and did not complete the recall as required back in 2014 in my case. Recently, earlier this year the ECM finally stopped working. Local dealer wouldn't fix it either so that's no surprise. They wanted to charge me $3000 for a new ECM.

The whole thing was shady because the original dealer said they did complete the recall under warranty in 2014 and even said on the service ticket they installed the covers to prevent corrosion - turns out they lied...
