This thread is talking Canadian here guys. We have different tax and duty laws then the US as well as a currency exchange. I'm not saying 2k is right or $200 or $400. We won't know exacrlt till the figures come out on paper.

If anyone finds a dealer who isn't willing to deal on the price of an '06 - FIND A NEW DEALER.

My deal is $700 over invoice on '06 and I got to order exactly what I wanted.
There is more than $1500 difference in resale between an '04 and '05 TSX. With all the upgrades on the '06, the diffrence between it and the '05 will likely be greater. You better get $2k less than an '06, just to break even. So, unless I could get an '05 for $1500 below invoice, I wouldn't consider it a better deal. Just my .

i'm sorry if this is posted somewhere else already but just wanna share with all the Torontoians
i'm thinking of going for the 05 now....paying 2k more PLUS 3.5k more due to 5.8 interest rate instead of 2.8 is just not worth getting the 06 next year after it stops snowing. i can always pay 695 for stock fog lights lot less than the 5k
sales said there are 3 white TSXs left should i believe him? haha probably not
FYI
a non nav auto no other options TSX is now 41k dealer said he took off 2k from the markup already is that reasonable? or can do better?

AT Non Nav Invoice is $33,212
33,212 + 500 (dealer profit) + 1200 (Freight/PDI) + 15% (taxes) = 40,148
So 41K is good but not great. Try and get the freight/PDI cost removed or at least reduced.

Which dealership in the GTA can you get a 2005 TSX auto non-navi for $40K OTR? I am talking about people that have purchased the car already, not those that THINK they can get the car for $40K OTR. Invoice is $33212, Freight & PDI is $1480, Air and Gas Tax is $175, so that's $34867 plus tax, total of $40097.05 so they can sell you a car at invoice. I don't know anybody that got a TSX at invoice. On top of that, most dealers will charge you a registration fee of $299 plus tax. $40K on the road is just wishful thinking.

Just called Markham to confirm my point, $1480 for Freight and PDI. How long ago did you buy this car? Maybe they charged you $1200 on Freight and PDI and $499 on Registration fee and $195 for Admin fee. You HAD to pay Admin fee as of August of 2005, Honda Canada waived it after September. Any how, the Freight and PDI was never $1200 for the TSX.

I don't remember my out the door price. I think it was around $44,400.
2005 CG Auto with Navi bought in May 2005. (included wheel locks and i never asked for it hehe)
BTW, the admin fee was stamped, not written. I think it was $200. I'll have to check the invoice if I have time.
