2004 iPhone options (parrot mki9100 vs. USASpec or others?)

Hey guys,

Just upgraded from my lovely 2001 Civic LX 4 door to my dad's old 2004 TSX AT/MR/no-nav. It goes without saying that I'm super happy with the car (could do without the pink faded paint, but what can you do lol).

Anyways I had a great set up for my iPhone in my old civic. I put a Pioneer Double DIN bluetooth+iPhone compatible deck, and hacked a windshield mount holder to pop out of the original accessory outlet plug (and wired in a 2-outlet splitter with USB Out).

So I was used to a nice elegant/all in one solution.

From what I've read this isn't really possible in my model TSX.

Sooo it sounds to me that the USASpec or parrot mki9100 are my two reasonably priced options. The only thing I'm not liking about the Parrot is the fact that I think I'll lose the use of my steering wheel controls (can anyone confirm this?). Would hate to lose the volume control there, I read somewhere that you end up having to use the parrot unit to control volume.

Any one have opinions either way? I was also wondering if anyone has a USASpec for their iPhone with a separate bluetooth solution, like another parrot model or something, or if this is even possible?

Thanks guys,
Loving the site.

Another option is for you to get a cheap Garmin or other portable Nav unit that has Bluetooth and use that for your handsfree calls. It's separate from your TSX audio unit, but Garmin Bluetooth works really well with iPhone.
